Welcome to the Schaeffer Funeral Home online.  We are a full service, independent; locally family owned and operated funeral home situated in Petersburg, West Virginia.  We believe that personal and professional service is the foundation in providing the best funeral service to the families we serve. The Schaeffer family has served the tri-county area of Grant, Hardy, and Pendleton counties of West Virginia over fifty years. J. Blaine Schaeffer began the family mortuary business in 1950 with his wife, the late Edna Kathern (Hanlin) Schaeffer. Their second daughter, Renee S. Schaeffer, has been the general manager since 1990.
