Zola Bogan Obituary
Mr. Zola Ervin Bogan, age 69, of 100 Wildlife Drive, Apt. 101, Petersburg, WV passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at his residence.
He was born January 16, 1947 in Fort Seybert, WV and was the son of the late Charles Hendrick Bogan and Loma Mae (Vandevander) Bogan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Bogan, Earl Bogan and infant twin Roy Bogan.
Zola graduated from Circleville High School in 1968. He was a brick mason and worked for Nelson Contracting. He was a member of Riverside Church on Dollytown Road in Cabins, WV.
Mr. Bogan is survived by his wife, Shannon ( Pennington) Bogan; one son, Cody Bogan and fiancee, Ida Varner of Petersburg, WV; one daughter, Tabitha White and husband, Larry of Harrisonburg, VA; grandson, Malachi White; two step grandchildren, Cheynne Varner and Bentley Varner; one sister, Regena Judy of Seneca Rocks, WV; 5 brothers, Charles William Bogan of Harman, WV, Wilson Bogan of Maysville, WV, Jim Bogan of Seneca Rocks, WV, Roger Bogan of Brandywine, WV, Bobby Bogan of Franklin, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy George and Rev. Steve Landis officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Inurnment will be in the North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the family, c/o his daughter, Tabitha White, 1471 Springside Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
