Wanda Jean (Dyche) Wimer, age 65, of Maysville, WV passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at her home.
Wanda was born August 22, 1956 in Keyser, WV and was a daughter of the late Arthur R. Dyche and Ruth E. (Adams) Dyche.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by twin sons, Jim and John Wimer; one grandson, Corey Lofton and one brother, Douglas Dyche.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kermit E. Wimer; one son, Gary (Donna) Wimer of Petersburg, WV; three daughters, Linda (Scott) Hedrick of Petersburg, WV, Tammy (Kenny) Mathias of Boiling Springs, SC and Mary Ann Evans (Sam) of Wellford, SC; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Ann (Cliff) Doman of McCoole, MD, Vickie Honaker of Martinsburg, WV, Frances Trenum of Jacksonville, FL., one brother, Ronald “Pokey” (Janie) Dyche of Keyser, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Wanda managed Fox’s Pizza Den in Petersburg for many years and later purchased Keyser Fox’s Pizza Den which she operated until her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, a West Virginia State Muzzle Loader Shooting Champion for two consecutive years and a lifelong avid shopper.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Luke McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Hebron Cemetery, Maysville, WV.
