Wanda F. (Berg) Rexrode

Wanda Faye (Berg) Rexrode, age 72, of Maysville, WV passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at her residence.

Wanda was born on September 12, 1948 in Petersburg, WV and was the daughter of late Arlie Thomas Berg and Lottie (Nesselrodt) Berg.  In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by one son, Bryant Harold Rexrode; one brother, Rev. Glenden Berg; one sister, Juanita Berg.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Johnnie Rexrode; one daughter, Connie Rexrode Garcia and husband Heliodoro of Zebuton, NC; two grandsons, Johnny  Engle and Kevin Engle; two great grandsons, Johnny Engle, Jr. and Jackson Engle; two sisters, Lenora Groves and husband Marcus of Hubbard, Ohio and Alma Shillingburg of Petersburg, WV; four brothers, Leonard Berg and wife Phyllis of Maysville, WV, Donnie Berg of Fayetteville, NC, Leo Berg and wife Darlene of Virginia and Lowell Berg and wife Sue of Maysville, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She was a member of the Petersburg Church of God.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wanda’s body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled later.
