Wanda M. (Borror) Ellis

 Wanda Marie (Borror) Ellis age 74 of Petersburg, WV died on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.

 Wanda was born June 12, 1947 in Landes, WV and was a daughter of the late Arthur William “Taft” Borror and Minnie Rosetta (George) Borror.  In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Ellis, Jr. in 2018; six brothers, Roland, Bruce, Dorris “Bunt”, Leo, infants Roger and James Borror; three sisters, Hilda Borror Kesner, Phyllis Borror Shook and Ruth Borror  Keplinger; one nephew, Martin “Marty”Borror and one niece, Debbie Borror Judy.

Wanda is survived by one brother, Doug (Linda) Borror of Petersburg, WV; two sisters, Shirley (Roger) Cook of Maysville, WV and Patsy (Rudy) Parker of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Wanda was a graduate of Petersburg High School class of 1966. She attended  the Strayer Business School in Cumberland, MD.  She was secretary for Estes  Express Lines, Springfield, Virginia. Wanda was a  supervisor at AMP Inc. in Harrisburg, PA before moving back to West Virginia.  Wanda was a member of Grove Street United Methodist Church and the Grant County Historical Society. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October, 16, 2021 at Grove Street United Methodist Church, 11 North Grove Street, Petersburg, WV  with Pastor Larry Hakes officiating.
