Wilbur Curtis “Mac” McUlty, age 84, of Petersburg, WV passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at his residence.
Curtis was born June 29, 1937 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Clyde Otha McUlty and Viola (Likens) McUlty.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Cook) McUlty in 2002; one son, Michael Curtis McUlty; one brother, Keith McUlty.
Curtis is survived by one son, Brian McUlty of Petersburg, WV; two daughters, Deborah Berg and husband Ronnie of Petersburg, WV and Sally Winebrenner and husband Ed of Cabins, WV; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and his furry friend, Chloe.
Curtis was a driver salesman for Budweiser and retired after 36 years. Later he drove for PVTA for 13 years. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Memorial Church of the Brethren in Petersburg.
A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11 AM with Pastor Frank Ketterman officiating in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
