Virginia "Jenny" E. (Croson) Miller

Virginia Elizabeth “Jenny” Miller, age 56 of Lahmansville, WV passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Jenny was born on May 29, 1966 in Middleburg, VA and was a daughter of the late Robert Stacy Croson and Daisy Jane (Wright) Croson.  In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by three brothers, William “Rusty” Croson, Timothy Crites and Melvin Crites. 

Jenny is survived by her husband, William A. “Billy” Miller, Jr. of Lahmansville, WV.

Six sons: Mark Brown (Angel) of Luray, VA., Kenny Brown (Renee) of Toms Brook, VA, Steven Brown (Allison) of Petersburg, WV, Matthew Brown of Winchester, VA,  Zachery (Fiancée Laura Myers) of Fisher, WV and Terry Allen Miller and wife Sammie of Rig, WV.

Three daughters: Jenny Barkley (Jeremy) of Winchester, VA, Katie Crews (Nick) of Petersburg, WV and Vanessa May and husband John of Moorefield, WV.

Twenty-two grandchildren.

Four brothers:  Robert “Bobby” Croson, Jr. (Sheila) of Richmond, VA, Clarence Heflin (Paula) of Richmond, VA, Daniel Heflin of Manassas, VA and Ronald Crites (Tammy) of Augusta, WV.

Three sisters:  Linda Loughry (Rich) of Mineral, VA., Ann Ward (Doug) of King William, VA and Beth Heflin of Culpeper, VA.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 11th from 5 – 7:00 pm at the Schaeffer Funeral Home and a funeral service will begin at 7 PM with Pastor Ray Church.
