Victor G. Kesner

   Victor George Kesner, age 91, of Petersburg, WV passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Piney Valley Rehabilitation & Care Center in Keyser, WV.

    He was born July 18, 1929 in Rough Run, WV and was a son of the late John Evers Kesner and Maggie Rebecca (Whetzel) Kesner.

    In addition to his parents, Mr. Kesner was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Mae (Smith) Kesner in 2015; one brother, Evers Kesner; three sisters, Virginia Bouldin and two infant sisters.

    Mr. Kesner is survived by four daughters, Linda Kesner Goldizen and husband Terry  of Petersburg, WV, Brenda KesnerVance of Petersburg, WV, Patricia Kesner of Petersburg, WV and Janet Kesner of Burlington, WV; two sons, Gary Kesner of Petersburjg, WV and Ronald Wayne Kesner of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Kesner, Melody Kesner, Jonathan Kesner, Vanessa Fortino, Eric Vance, Ashley Kesner and Brianna Kesner;  seven great grandchildren, Tyler Parker, Matalyn Mowry, Hailey Fortino,  Blake Fortino, Gavin Fortino, Kaysen McMillin and Evan Skeen; one brother, Landy Kesner of Petersburg, WV; two sisters, Arvella Ours of Petersburg, WV and Jean Crites of Petersburg, WV; sister-in-law, Betty Martin of Chambersburg, PA and several nieces and nephews.

    Mr. Kesner was a member of Harness Run Church of the Brethren and Patterson Creek Ruritan Club.

    Graveside service will be Thursday,November 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Lahmansville Cemetery with Pastor John Ellifritz officiating.  Interment will follow in Lahmansville Cemetery.
