Vallie Kisamore Obituary
Vallie Kisamore, age 101, formerly of Cabins, WV passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV. She was born October 12, 1914 in Onego, WV and was the daughter of the late Estel Bennett and Iva (Dolly) Bennett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Kisamore on November 8, 1979; an infant son, Clyde Martin Kisamore; one daughter, Ruthlene Champ; son-in-law, Paul R. Champ; daughter-in-law, Louise V. Kisamore; four sisters, Ruby Burke, Josie Payne, Merle Sites, Eva Patterson and 2 infant sisters; six brothers, Carl Bennett, Don Bennett, Chester Bennett and Clifford Bennett, Paul Bennett, Foster Bennett and an infant brother.
Mrs. Kisamore was a homemaker and was known as an avid gardener even at the age of 90 years old. She was a member of North Fork Mennonite Church, Petersburg, WV.
Mrs. Kisamore is survived by one son, Jimmie G. Kisamore of Riverton, WV; one daughter, Joy Kisamore of Cabins, WV; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great- great grandchildren and a great- great grandson expected in November; one sister, Shirley Flohr of Augusta, WV and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Showalter and Pastor Robert Weaver officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Bennett Family Cemetery on Spruce Mountain, Onego, WV.
