Twila M. (Day) Evans

Twila Mae June (Day) Evans, age 85, of Moorefield, WV passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her home.

Twila was born May 3, 1935 in Job, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late James Dixon Day and Lula Mae (Painter) Day. 

In addition to her parents, Twila was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene W. Evans on their 58th Wedding Anniversary, August 27, 2009; four brothers, Troy Day, Donnie Day, Homer Day and Roy Day.  Twila was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Twila is survived by her son, William Larry Evans of Moorefield, WV; two granddaughters, Harleigh and Trinity Jean and step granddaughter, Chelsea; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Wednesday 11:00 A.M. at the Whetzel Family Cemetery, Dumpling Run Road, Moorefield, WV with Jeff Barger.
