Timothy Arbogast

Timothy “Gizmo” Arbogast, age 61, of Cabins, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, West Virginia.

He was born March 7, 1958 in Harman, West Virginia and was a son of the late Norman Jacob Arbogast and Nettie Louise (Long) Arbogast. In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by an infant sister, Robin Arbogast; an infant nephew, Michael Arbogast.

Timothy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rose A. (Thompson) Arbogast; four sons, Timothy Jacob “Timmy” Blizzard and wife Stephanie of Harman, WV, Timothy Allen Arbogast of Harman, WV, Bryant Lynn Arbogast and wife Kristie of Job, WV and Ronnie Worth Arbogast and wife Jessica of Cabins, WV; seven grandchildren, Katie Viands and husband Jarred, Bryant “B. J.” Arbogast, Jr., Braxten Arbogast, Ronnie “R.J.” Arbogast, Jr., Ashten Arbogast, Selena Arbogast and Natalia Arbogast; one great granddaughter, Oaklynn Viands; two brothers, Mike Arbogast and wife Eleanor of Harman, WV and Mickey Arbogast and wife Sandy of Harman, WV; two sisters, Tammy McFarlan and husband Donnie of Canaan Valley, WV and Nicole Dolly and husband Robert of Job, WV;  several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was Christian by Faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. His passion was watching wrestling. Timothy was a former employee of American Woodmark in Moorefield, WV.  

Timothy’s family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Harold Mullenax officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. 

 Interment will follow in the Long Family Cemetery at Cabins, WV.
