Timmy Joe Hall

Timmy Joe Hall, age 53 of Petersburg, WV went to his Heavenly Home on Friday, January 12, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Tim was born on September 8, 1970, in Petersburg, WV and was a son of Ranetta (Stump) Hall of Petersburg, WV and the late Timmy Lee Hall.  

Tim is survived by his mother, Ranetta Hall; his wife of 34 years, Tammy A. (Baker) Hall; one son, Timmy Joe “T.J.” Hall, Jr. (Jessica) of Maysville, WV; one daughter, Jessika Markwood (Kolton) of Petersburg, WV; seven grandchildren, Ryleigh Hall, Audrey Hall, Raven Hall, Asher Hall, Kayston Markwood, Kaylor Markwood and Kanson Markwood; two brothers, Paul Ray Hall of Petersburg, WV and Sam Hall (Justina) of Baker, WV; also surviving several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and special friends, Shad Hines, Jim Fawley, Gordy Riggleman, Mark Hamric, Bill Wolfe, Rick Hedrick, Saul Arbogast, Logan Helmick and Mark Dolly.

Tim was a 1988 graduate of Petersburg High School. He was employed at Pilgrims Pride in Moorefield until his retirement in 2008. Tim was presently employed for GES/Siemens Gamesa at Mt. Storm, WV since 2008.  Tim enjoyed farming, hunting, and was an avid fisherman.  But his main passion was his grandchildren.  Tim was a genuine man who never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.  He was a member of Christ Central Community Church in Upper Tract, WV. 

Tim’s family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-8 PM at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. Funeral service will be Monday, January 15, 2024, at 11 AM in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Harper officiating. The Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Petersburg, WV.
