Susan A. (Kentrus) Mongold

Susan Anne (Kentrus) Mongold, age 62 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Susan was born on July 19, 1961 in Camden, New Jersey and was a daughter of Helen Marie (Cannon) Kentrus Lacroix of St. Petersburg, Florida and the late Albert Vincent Kentrus, Sr.

Susan is survived by her husband Steven A. Mongold, Sr of Petersburg, WV, one son, Steven A. Mongold, Jr.. of Petersburg, WV; two sisters Helen Ankney of Perry Hall, MD and Jackie Comer of Davidson, MD; one brother, Albert V. Kentrus, Jr. of S. C. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan was a former manager of the Petersburg McDonald’s until she was disabled. She is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Petersburg, WV.

Honoring Susan’s wishes, her body will be cremated. A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date.
