Steven Zywicki Obituary

 

Pastor Steven Edward Zywicki, age 70, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV

Steve was born October 19, 1950 in Ludington, Michigan and was a son of the late George Kelosky and Joan (Johnson) Kelosky.  In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by one sister, Susan Frances Voelkel. 

Steve is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jackie (Harman) Zywicki; one son, Shaun Michael Zywicki and wife Pam of South Mill, NC; one daughter, Stacie Michelle Pratt and husband Russ of Dumfries, VA; Six grandchildren, Kristeena, Michael Jr, Samantha, Annie, Carlie and Steven “Eddie” 2 great grandchildren, Luther and Dakota; one sister, Terry Hales of Branch, Ark.

Steve was a United States Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart Recipient.  He was an IT computer programer and electrician.  He was an ordained Baptist minister and was currently the Pastor of North Mill Creek Baptist Church.   

Military Graveside Services by the Petersburg VFW Post 6454 and West Virginia Marine Corp Honor Guard will be Saturday 1:00 PM at the Kline Cemetery at Kline, WV with Pastor Rick Bergdoll officiating. 

Please be prepared to adhere to all CDC guidelines including face coverings and social distancing at all times. 

 Those who wish to remember Steve in a special way may make memorials to North Mill Creek Baptist Church, 1327 North Mill Creek Road, Petersburg, WV 26847.
