Shirley V. Sprouse

Shirley Virginia Sprouse, age 85 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.

Shirley was born on November 16, 1939 in Cabins, WV and was a daughter of the late Texie Jane Watts. In addition to her mother, Shirley was preceded in death by one grandson Joey Dolly, son-in-law, Clifford Wendricks, one sister Betty Kimble and two brothers Benny Nelson and Billy Watts.

Shirley is survived by two daughters, Dawn Rohrbaugh (Tim) of Maysville, WV and Tammy Wendricks of Martinsburg, WV and one son, Marty Sites (Penny) of Maysville, WV; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and  two great- great grandsons; and one brother Randy Watts of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be conducted on Friday 11:00 AM, November 22, 2024, at Maysville Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Goldizen officiating. Burial will follow in Maysville Cemetery.
