Ruth G. (White) Alt

Ruth Gail (White) Alt age 90 of Harman, WV passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV.

Ruth was born on January 11, 1935 in Harman, WV and was a daughter of the late Marshall Green White and Nellie Faye (Day) White.  In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin F. Alt in 1990; one daughter, Vickie Bennett; infant grandson, Kelly Harman; three brothers, Conley White, Neil White and Roger White; two sisters, Louise Spiegel and Norma Warner.

Ruth is survived by one son, Eddie F. Alt ( Melissa ) of Harman, WV; three daughters, Linda Warner (David) of Petersburg, WV, Patricia Mullennex (Sam) of Harman, WV and Sherry Evans (Greg) of Maysville, WV; Six grandchildren, Tammy Tingler, Jeddie Mullennex, Bobby Bennett, Adam Evans, Shannon Bobo and Christopher Alt who helped his grandmother with daily activities; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Kepner of Columbia, SC and Peggy Mullennex of Job, WV; two half sisters, Connie Miller of Riverton, WV and Patty Miller of Cabins, WV; two half - brothers, Carlton White and Larry White both of Harrisonburg, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth enjoyed the family gatherings and spending time with her family. She loved to watch television, read newspapers and usually had an Amish book in her hand. 

All services will be private and she will be laid to rest by her husband in the Evans Family Cemetery in Maysville, WV.
