Ronnie Wayne Bible, age 67 of Petersburg, WV went to his Heavenly Home on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV with his wife by his side after losing his battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Ronnie was born on January 12,1954, in Keyser, WV and was a son of the late Arlie Lester Bible and Zernie Jane (VanMeter) Bible. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by one brother, Merlin G. Bible and infant brother, Norman Bible.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Wanda L. (Kimble) Bible; one daughter, Kimberly B. Hartman and husband Eric W. of Petersburg, WV; three grandchildren, Cheyenne Dawn Hartman, Taylor Marie Hartman and Lucas Michael Hartman; three brothers, Marvin Bible of Scherr, WV, Bobby Bible and wife Malvena of Maysville, WV and Roger L. Bible and wife Anna Mae of Moorefield, WV; two sisters, Norma E. Feaster of Petersburg, WV and Hilda F. Lambert and husband Bruce of Franklin, WV; several nieces and nephews and two brothers-in-law, Mark A. Kimble of Petersburg, WV and Roger D. Alt of Upper Tract, WV.
Ronnie was a graduate of Petersburg High School class of 1972. He retired from Adell Polymers in 2020 after 47 years. He was a faithful member of the Memorial Church of the Brethren and served as deacon. He spent many hours working around the church. Ronnie loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a special person and loved helping others and never met a stranger.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2021, at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.
Funeral service will be 11 AM on Monday, September 13, 2021, in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Brumbaugh and Rev. Harold Cullers officiating.
Burial will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
