Rodney R. Hall

Rodney Ray Hall, age 61, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family and under the care of hospice.  Rodney was born on June 9, 1962 in Hanover, PA and was a son of the late John Oliver Hall and Genevieve Catherine (Lewis) Hall. 

In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by one brother, Evers E. Keplinger and one step- daughter, Sherry Snyder.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Sally A. (Snapp) Hall; one son, John Oliver Hall of Nebraska; one daughter, Charity Dorak (Ryan) of Cabins, WV one step- daughter, Ethel Murphy (Andrew) of Maysville, WV; ten grandchildren; one brother, Allan Hall (Betsy) of New Oxford, PA; two sisters, Henrietta “Penny” Rohrer (Dennis) of Hanover, PA and Sharon Livelsberger of McSherrystown, PA; sister-in-law, Rita Keplinger of New Oxford, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Rodney was formerly employed by Pilgrim’s in Moorefield, WV and also formerly helped Steve VanMeter in the Carpet Service.  He loved the outdoors, hiking, swimming, canoeing, fishing and hunting mushrooms and spending time with family and friends. 

 A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2 PM at  Moorefield Church of the Brethren Fellowship Hall,  Moorefield, WV with Pastor Larry Hakes.
