Rocky L. Cosner

 Rocky Lough Cosner age 65 of Mt. Storm, WV passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at his home after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Rocky was born on April 27, 1960 in Oakland, MD and was a son of the late Wardney Cosner and Donna (Anthony) Cosner. 

Rocky is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Angela (Mick) Cosner; one son, William Evans and wife Donna of Fort Ashby, WV; two grandchildren, Shelby Evans and Ethan Evans; two step grandchildren, Bradley Young and Tyler Young and one great-great granddaughter, Morgan Young; three brothers, Pastor Randy Cosner and wife Christy of Antioch, WV, Ricky Cosner and wife Lynn of Richmond, VA and Rusty Cosner and wife Treva of Mt Storm, WV and three nephews, Aaron Cosner and wife April, Joel Cosner and wife Elizabeth and Matthew Cosner and wife Lillian; two great nieces, Ailah Cosner and Brielle Cosner and two great nephews, Austin Cosner and Archer Cosner. 

Rocky was a 1978 graduate of Union High School in Mt. Storm, WV. He worked for CMC Construction for several years and retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways. Rocky was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding his ATV and tractors. Rocky was a member of the Locust Grove Church on Bismarck Road, Mt. Storm, WV.

Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Locust Grove Church, on the Bismarck Road, Mt. Storm, WV.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at Locust Grove Church with Pastor Kevin Staggs officiating.

Burial will be in the Cosner-Likens Cemetery, Mt. Storm, WV.
