Remonia Blizzard Obituary
Remonia "Babe" Berg Blizzard, age 77, of Maysville, WV passed away Sunday,
January 11, 2015 at the home of her daughter, Lola and Jim Reel of Petersburg.
She was born November 29, 1937 in Rock Castle, WV and was the daughter of the late Travis Ray Blankenship and Geneive Viola (Barnett) Blankenship.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Berg in 1984 and her second husband, Robert H. Blizzard in 2012; and two grandchildren and one sister, Dolly Mae Blankenship.
Remonia is survived by two sons, Travis (Eleanor) Berg of Scherr, WV and Willis (Misty) Berg of Bunker Hill, WV; five daughters, Verta (Mickey) Taylor of Maysville, WV, Veeta (Dan)Burgess of Arthur, WV, Thelma (Billy) Rohrbaugh of Maysville, WV, Lola (Jim) Reel of Petersburg, WV and Martha (Louis) Ashley of Maysville, WV; one step son, Ernest Eugene (Linda) Berg of Maysville, WV; 23 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; one sister, Mary Lou (Clayton) Roach of Jacksonville, FL.
Family will receive friends Tuesday 5 - 8 p.m. at the Cornerstone Family Fellowship, 1516 Lunice Creek Highway, Rt. 42 North, Petersburg, WV.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, (January 14, 2015) at 1 p.m. at the Cornerstone Family Fellowship Church with Rev. Stephen B. Landis officiating.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
