Ralph F. Hottman

Ralph Franklin Hottman, age 74, of Cabins, WV died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Western Maryland Medical Center in Cumberland, MD.  He was born May 27, 1944 in Bowling Green, Ohio and was a son of the late Clarence Vern Hottman and Louella May (Cunningham) Hottman.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hottman was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann (Lincoln) Hottman on August 9, 2012.

Mr. Hottman served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War.  He retired from the Manatee Sheriff Department as Lieutenant Commander. 

Mr. Hottman is survived by his son, Eric B. (Jennifer) Hottman of Sarasota, FL., three grandsons, Ian Hottman, Josh Heaton and Jacob Heaton; his sister, Serena Barnard of Perrysburg, Ohio and his brother, Jeffrey D. Hottman of Bradenton, FL., and several nieces and nephews.

As per Mr. Hottman’s wishes, his body has been cremated.  All services will be private.
