Phyllis Catherine Tenney

Phyllis Catherine Tenney, age 64 of Moorefield, WV passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at her residence.

Phyllis was born on July 13, 1957, in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Thomas Junior Tenney and Nina Marie (Regester) Tenney.  Also preceded  in death by her foster mother, Effie Fitzwater.

Phyllis is survived by five sisters, Louise Tenney of Kingwood, WV, Marguerite (Roger) Kimble of Sterling, VA, Peggy Tenney of Terra Alta, WV, Alice Tenney of Moorefield,  WV and Paula (Mark Berg) Feaster of Petersburg, WV; two brothers, Clarence (Fabiana) Tenney of GA and Ray (Patricia) Thompson of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis graduated from Petersburg High School in 1979.  She attended the Moorefield Church of God. 

Family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:30 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.

Graveside service will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday,  September 11, 2021, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, WV with Pastor Carolyn Berg Sites officiating.
