Paula J. (Crites) Wolfe

    Paula  Jean (Crites) Wolfe, age 77 of Rig, WV passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Grant Memorial Hospital.

     Paula was born on September 2, 1944 in Rig, WV and was a daughter of the late Glenn Conway Crites and Rebecca Madeline (Baldwin) Crites.  In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Chester “June” Wolfe in 2005; Father and Mother-in-law, Chester Sloan Wolfe and Violet May (Spaid) Wolfe;  two brothers, Donnie and Norman Crites; two sisters, Dottie Mongold and infant Connie Marie Crites; three special nieces, Sherry  Susan Hose,  Sarah Beth Saville and  Stacey Jo Crites; one sister-in-law, Neva Crites. 

    Paula is survived by one son, Jeffery Crites of Rig, WV

 Two daughters -  Melody Wolfe of Rig, WV and Amy Wolfe and fiancé Colin of Mathias, WV.

   Three sisters:  Mary ‘Sudie” (Richard) Simmons of Rig, WV; Cindy Shoemaker of Petersburg, WV and Lisa (Roscoe) Crites  of Moorefield, WV.

    Six brothers: Jerry (Barbara)Crites of Moorefield, WV, Stevie (Tena) Crites  of Fisher, WV, Boyd Crites of Petersburg, WV, Rodney (Shawna) Crites  of Moorefield, WV, Randall (Lana) Crites of Rig, WV and Rex (Elneta) Crites of Rig, WV

   Several  nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

   Paula was a member of Rig Assembly of God Church.  She had worked at Rockingham Poultry for 3 years and later at Hester Industries for 27 years.  Paula enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends by sending greeting cards.  She enjoyed watching soap operas.

   Family will receive friends Friday, December 31, 2021 from 9 – 11 AM at Rig Assembly of God Church.  Funeral service will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Wade Armentrout and Pastor Brad Taylor officiating.  Interment will be in Critestown Cemetery in Rig, WV.
