Norman Harold Minnick, Jr.

Norman Harold Minnick. Jr., age 58, of Mt. Storm, WV passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Norman was born on February 18, 1963 in Oakland, MD and was a son of the late Norman Harold Minnick, Sr. and Claretta Jean (Helmick) Minnick.  In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his step-father, Loran Hawk and one great nephew, Aaron Ashby.

Norman is survived by his Soulmate, Linda Reed; one daughter, Keli “Ann” Minnick and fiancé, Kale Hartman of New Creek, WV; one son, Chad Minnick of Mt. Storm, WV; one grandson, Carter Minnick; four step grandchildren, Alexia, Peyton, Ana and Jackson;  two sisters, Patty (Mickey) Chapman of Gormania, WV and Rhonda Morgan of Mt. Storm, WV; two brothers, Rick (Millie) Minnick of Oakland, MD and Jeff Minnick of Oakland, MD; several nieces and nephews.

Norman was a graduate of Union High School Class of 1981.  He was employed by Savage Services in Oakland, MD for 25 years.  He was a member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He loved to volunteer for the Mt. Storm Little League Basketball.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 4 – 8 PM at the Locust Grove Church on Bismarck Road, Mt. Storm, WV.

Funeral service will be at 11 AM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Locust Grove Church with the Rev. Mark Nicol officiating.  Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
