Nancy A. (Holloway) Parrish

Nancy Antoinette (Holloway) “Toni” Parrish, age 69 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center.

Nancy was born on July 22, 1952, in Clarksburg, WV and was a daughter of the late John Morton Holloway and Patricia (Downes) Holloway. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest D. Parrish on April 30, 2021, and one sister, Linda Holloway Eberman.    

Nancy is survived by one son, Adam (Angie) Parrish of Petersburg, WV; one daughter, Darice (Derek) Alt of Petersburg, WV; two grandchildren, Blake Parrish (Brianna Bell) and Brooke Parrish (Chris Sullivan); four great grandchildren, Brayson Runion, Barrett Sullivan, Brantley Parrish and Ryker Parrish; two sisters, Joan (Dave) Evans of Petersburg, WV and Patricia (Kenneth) Rexroad of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy grew up on a farm and kept her love of animals throughout her life.  She enjoyed talking on the phone with her friends and sisters and shopping for jewelry.  Her greatest  joys in life were her children and grandchildren.   Nancy retired from Rockingham Poultry in Moorefield, WV. She attended Cabins Assembly of God Church.   

Family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.

Funeral service will be 11 AM, Friday, September 10, 2021, in the Chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with Rev. Coleman Clark officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lahmansville Cemetery.
