Melissa Sue (Thompson) Hott, age 52 of Maysville, WV passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at her home. She was born August 21, 1967 in Harrisonburg, Va.

She was the daughter of Robert John Thompson and wife Ellen of Petersburg, WV, and the late Suzanne Louise Turpin.

In addition to her father and his wife, Melissa is survived by her husband, George Andrew Hott Jr. of Maysville, WV. Her sister, Rachel Louise Thompson and Fiance Lester Wilson of Moorefield, WV; three children, Danielle Sarrian (Thompson) Eubanks and husband Jeremy Don Eubanks of Springfield, MO; Jesse Alonzo Thompson and significant other Wanda Jo Kittle of Moorefield, WV and Rebecca Ann Thompson and Fiance Drew Ryan White of Moorefield, WV; 4 grandchildren, Jayla Marie Thompson, Jesse Alonzo Thompson II, Isabella Syke Wratchford and Donivan Ray White. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Melissa graduated from Petersburg High school class of '85. She attended Independence University Online.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
