May Belle (Heavener) Kimble

 May Belle (Heavener) Kimble, age 70, of Maysville, WV passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at her home. 

 May Belle was born on January 29, 1954 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Charles Gabriel Heavener and Anna Belle (Zirk) Heavener.

In addition to her parents May Belle was preceded in death by one sister, Onita Jean Long. 

May Belle is survived by her companion, Joe “Mike” Long

One daughter, Rebecca Aronhalt (Greg) of Mt Storm, WV

One son, Jeremy Lee Long (Kelly) of Petersburg, WV

Five grandchildren, Three step grandchildren, One great granddaughter, Three step great grandchildren.

 One brother, Robert Heavener (Leota) of Maysville, WV

 Several nieces and nephews and her dog, Sheba. 

 May Belle was a 1972 graduate of Petersburg High School. She retired from American Woodmark Corp in Moorefield, WV. She also worked at the former Hermitage Motor Inn for several years.  May Belle enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her flower garden. 

 May Belle’s family will receive friends Monday, February 12, 2024 from 5 – 7 PM at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.  Funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Phillip Marcum officiating.
