Mary A. (Alt) Brill

Mary Ann (Alt) Brill, age 86 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.

Mrs. Brill was born on December 10, 1936 in Landes, WV and was a daughter of the late Henry Arthur Alt and Bessie Goldie (Marteney) Alt.  In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Erving Brill on April 28, 2016;  one sister, Pearl Barr Breakiron; half -sister, Arvella Kimble; three brothers, Denver Alt, William Alt, Delmar Alt and three half-brothers Emory Alt, Eldon Alt and Earl Alt.

Mrs. Brill is survived by two sisters-in-law, Frances Alt and Edna Alt both of Petersburg, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brill was a 1957 graduate of Petersburg High School. She attended the Petersburg Memorial Covenant Brethren Church. In her earlier years, Mary enjoyed playing golf. She was active in the Grant County Commission on Aging. 

 Mary's family will receive friends Sunday, April 16, 2023  from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. at Schaeffer Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Champ officiating.   

 Interment will be in Lahmansville Cemetery.
