Margaret Michael Obituary
Mary Margaret (Crites) Michael, age 87, joined her son, Chris in Heaven’s Victory Lane on Friday, November 12, 2021, as she finished her earthly race. She was born April 23, 1934, in Durgon, WV to the late Robert and Evelyn (Weese) Crites.
In addition to her parents, her son, Walter Christopher “Chris” Michael, preceded her in death on September 8, 2017. A sister, Frances “Frankie” (Crites) Smith also preceded her. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Surviving are her nieces, Connie (Smith) Plum, Richmond, VA and Barbie (Smith) Sites, Petersburg, WV.
Margaret was a devoted mother to her son and loved going to NASCAR races with him at Martinsville Speedway. She faithfully attended Rig Assembly of God Church, Rig, WV.
A graveside service and interment will be Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Scott Family Cemetery, Durgon, WV with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating.
