Lloyd M. Barger

Lloyd Melvin Barger, age 68, formerly of Maysville, WV passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV.

Lloyd was born October 5, 1952 in Maysville, WV and was a son of the late Denver Barger and Mabel (Flanagan) Barger.  In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Denver Barger; two nieces, Denise Barger Lahman and Stephanie Hedrick Bible McCausley. 

Lloyd is survived by three sisters, Barbara (Larry) Reynolds of Maysville, WV, Sandy (Buck) Hedrick of Petersburg, WV and Ruthie (Don) Watts of Cabins, WV; one brother,  Blaine (Tammy) Barger of Maysville, WV;  two nieces, six nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews; several cousins and a special cousin, Kevin “Fuzz” Barger.

Lloyd was a member of the Jordan Run Union Church of the Brethren and had worked several years at Allegheny Mining prior to his illness.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, WV with Pastor Harold Cullers officiating.
