Lindon H. Whetzel

Lindon Harrison Whetzel, age 60 of Romney, WV passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.

Lindon was born on August 9, 1964 in Romney, WV and was a son of the late Allen M. Whetzel and Mary Jane (Ayers) Whetzel. 

In addition to his parents, Lindon is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Allen Whetzel.

Lindon is survived by two sisters, Wanda L. Whetzel of Romney, WV and Anna Bullett of Paw Paw, WV and two brothers, Marvin Whetzel of Augusta, WV and Raymond Whetzel of Winchester, VA and several nieces and nephews.

Lindon enjoyed putting puzzles together and walking his dog Toby. He always helped his sister Wanda, mowing lawns. Lindon was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Romney, WV. 

Graveside service will be Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Sites Cemetery on Elkhorn Road, Petersburg, WV with Branch President Stan Anderton officiating. Burial will follow in Sites Cemetery.
