Linda M. (Goldizen) Glascock

 Linda Mae (Goldizen) Glascock, age 80 formerly of Petersburg, WV passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal, Virginia.

 Linda was born on May 19, 1944 in Cumberland, MD and was a daughter of the late Arthur Aaron Goldizen and Thelma Roberta (Sites) Goldizen.  In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by an infant great grandson, Tucker James Morgan.

 Linda is survived by two sons, Anthony S. (Cathy) DeMedici of Front Royal, VA and Jeremy (Brieanna) Glascock of Partlow, Virginia and daughter, Alicia L. (John) Weeks of Fredericksburg, VA., four grandchildren, Aaron Weeks, Amber Morgan, Victoria Weeks and Nathan DeMedici; two great grandchildren, Tanner Morgan and Jackson Weeks; two sisters, Nancy (David) Hansbrough of Harrisonburg, VA and Sharon (Butch) Porter of Summerfield, NC and several nieces and nephews.

 Linda was a 1962 graduate of Petersburg High School. She was a retired receptionist for Merchant Tires in Manassas, Virginia.  She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Manassas, Virginia and sang in the choir.

Linda’s family will receive friends on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 11 AM till 1 PM at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Bergdoll officiating.

 Interment will follow in the Lahmansville Cemetery in Lahmansville, WV.

 Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Charity of Choice.
