Linda Lou (Vance) Cosner

Linda Lou (Vance) Cosner, age 70 of Moorefield, WV passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at her home while under the care of hospice.

Linda was born on August 23, 1952 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Oley Vance and Joy (Miller) Vance Rao. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one brother, Oley Vance, Jr. Also, Linda’s special aunt and uncle, Jurl and Betty McAvoy; father-in-law, Toney Cosner.

Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Andy A. Cosner; two daughters, Angela (Greg) Berg of Maysville, WV and Toni (Hunter) Kite of Moorefield, WV; four grandchildren, Jeremy Berg, Kile Berg, Savannah Kite and Anniston Kite; special mother-in-law, Ruth Cosner, Rig, WV; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Linda retired from the American Woodmark Corp in Moorefield, WV.  Linda loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends.  In the summer, you could always find her at the Cosner cabin in Mt. Storm, WV.  She loved her West Virginia Mountaineers, but she always vocalized her first love to the Baltimore Ravens.

Graveside service will be Monday, May 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. at McAvoy Family Cemetery on Mountain View Road, Moorefield, WV with Pastor Daniel Sterns.  Burial will follow.
