Leonard Eugene "Tater" Brennan, II, 29, of Dorcas, WV, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Leonard was born on December 11th, 1991, to Leonard Eugene and Brenda Lee (Ours) Brennan. He was a graduate of Petersburg High School class of 2011. He was on the National Technical Honor Society at South Branch Career and Technical Center and graduated in 2012. Leonard worked for American Woodmark in Moorefield, WV. He was a member of Rough Run Church and a member of the Dorcas Ruritan Club.
Leonard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Noah and Lydia Brennan, one uncle, Noah Brennan Jr., and grandfather, Galen J. Ours. He is survived by his parents Leonard and Brenda Brennan, one sister, Brenna Marie Brennan, grandmother, Arvella R Ours, Uncles – George (Cameo) – Oklahoma, Michael (Amy) Lahmansville, John (Sharon) Petersburg, Russell (Cindy) Petersburg, Greg (Tonya) Moorefield, Aunts – Maxine Turner (Norman) Petersburg, Bobbi Schell Fredericksburg, VA, Linda Mallow (Eston) Cabins, Marlene Martin Dorcas, Darlene Brooks (Leroy) Maysville, Barbara Mongold (Randy) Arthur, Bernice Hedrick (Gary), Sandra Thorne (Jeffrey), Gale Vance (Allen) and Teresa Sullivan (Jeff) of Petersburg, WV. Also, survived by several cousins.
Leonard will be deeply missed as he had a huge heart for family and God. He touched the lives of many. Always had a smile and told his family he loved them every day.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, WV with Pastor Randall Mongold and Pastor Ray Church officiating. Family will receive friends following the service.
