Kaye (Alt) Mongold

Sandra Kaye (Alt) Mongold, age 67, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born January 7, 1952 in San Antonio, TX and was a daughter of the late Henry Rudolph Alt and Barbara Jean (Anderson) Alt. 

Kaye is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roger W. Mongold

One daughter, Kimberly S. Burgess and husband Brent of Petersburg, WV

Two sons, Roger W. Mongold II of Petersburg, WV

                  Blake G. Mongold of Petersburg, WV

Four grandchildren, Chase Mongold, Alec Burgess, Lacey Mongold and Jenna Burgess

Stepmother, Diane S. Alt of Rockville, MD

Three brothers:  Bradley C. Alt and wife Angie of Brookeville, MD

                           H. Mark Alt and wife Ellyn of Fishersville, VA

                           Daniel P. Alt of Scherr, WV

Two sisters:  Delena D. Wirth and husband, Keith of Little Chute, WI

                      Shanna E. Alt of Rockville, MD

Several nieces and nephews.

Kaye was a graduate of Petersburg High School Class of 1970.  She was a daycare provider for many years.  She was a former employee of  Advantage Foods, Grant County Nursing Home and recently retired from Pilgrim’s Pride. 

Kay's family will receive friends Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.  Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lynn Durbin officiating.  Burial will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
