Kathleen S. (Secrist) Mowry

Kathleen (Secrist) Mowry, age 86, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Mowry was born on November 18, 1934 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Gordon Secrist and Ruby (Coler) Secrist.  In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Mowry in 2010; one son, Christopher Mowry in 1987; three brothers, James M. Secrist, Arlie Secrist and Wayne Secrist; one sister, Josephine Keplinger.  Kathleen was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Kathleen is survived by one son, Jonathan J. Mowry of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church in Petersburg.  She was a member of  Lahmansville CEOS and was selected as Grant County Belle.

Graveside service will be Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV with Pastor Cheryl George officiating.
