Karen Zirk Obituary
Karen Sue (Turner) Zirk, age 60, of 11213 Knobley Road, New Creek, WV 26743, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at her home to be home with her Lord.
She was born May 14, 1954 in Petersburg, WV and is the daughter of Mabel (Streets) Turner of New Creek, WV and the late Justin L. Turner.
Karen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. She was an active member and Sunday School Teacher at the Potomac Valley Baptist Church in Maysville, WV.
Karen is survived by her mother, Mabel Turner of New Creek, WV; her husband of 42 years, Gary E. Zirk; two sons, Eric S. (Inga) Zirk of Liepaja, Latvia and Eli (Angela) Zirk of Romney, WV; four grandchildren, Noah Zirk of Lahmansville, WV, Lasma Zirk and Gatis Zirk of Liepaja, Latvia, and Landon Zirk of Romney, WV; one brother, George (Sue) Turner of Keyser, WV.
Family will receive friends Monday 6 -9 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.
Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday (December 30, 2014) at 11:00 a.m. at the Potomac Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Ted Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Knobley Memorial Garden Cemetery on the Knobley Road, New Creek, WV.
