June Stull Obituary

 

C. June Stull, Age: 67, of Maysville, WV and  formerly of Hanover, PA. went to her heavenly home on October 12, 2022 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown WV.  She was born on  August 6, 1955 in Gettysburg PA., to Cleameth H. Stull & the late Freda Irene Feaster-Stull.

 Lovingly referred to as Kitten by her dad; family members, relatives, and lifelong friends simply called her Kit. Everyone else referred to her as June. She wasn’t happy unless she was in the woods hunting or sitting beside a stream where she could fish. But most of the time she was with her longtime friend Jody Ours of Maysville, WV.

 Upon graduation from New Oxford High School in 1973, she attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania; Entering the service on, August 23, 1977, she received Army Basic Combat Training & qualified at Sharpshooter at Fort Jackson in Columbia SC. Stationed in Wharton Barracks, Heilbronn Germany, US Army Signal School, she was promoted to E-2 on March 20th ,1978. And by November 2nd ,1978 she was promoted to an E-4, specializing in Radio Communications, Company C 26th Battalion. Upon receiving an honorable discharge on August 22, 1980, she pursued business degrees at Wilson College, Chambersburg PA., graduating with her associate’s, and an additional degree from SBVC.

 June is also survived by Sisters: F. Christine (Doug) Alt, & Donna L. (Randy) Warner, all of Petersburg, WV; brother: Daniel J. (Regenia Cline) Stull of St. James MO; long time close friend, Marilyn Shelly, Maysville, WV & furry companion: Lil Pebbles. Also surviving her Nephew: Terre (Patty) Leatherman, Christopher (Jessica) Stull Niece’s: Rhonda (JC) Schell, Charity Pastrana, Tara (Jeremy) Pratt, Brittany (Whitney) Hinkle, Cassandra (Eli) Hatcher; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

 A celebration of Life and Military Honors Service will  be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brake Covenant Brethren Church with Pastor Craig Howard.  Military Honors will be accorded by  Grant County Veterans Honor Guard and West Virginia Army Honor Guard.   

 Those who wish to remember June in a special way, may make donations to the Wounded Warrior Association or Samaritan's Purse or an Animal Rescue.
