Julie A. (Ours) Swick

Julie Ann (Ours) Swick, age 60, of Cabins, WV passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.

Julie was born on April 9, 1963 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of John Jacob Ours of Cabins, WV and the late Maxine Dora (Turner) Ours.

In addition to her father, John J. Ours, Julie is survived by her husband, Ernest E. Swick 

 One son- Jeremy Swick of Moorefield, WV

 One brother- Brian Ours (Karen) of Ruther Glen, VA

 Two sisters – Sandra (Ours) Paz (Felix) of Harrisonburg, VA

                     - Fallon (Ours) Hedrick (Wesley) of Maysville, WV

  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews including Tenley Hedrick and McKenley Hedrick. 

 Julie was a 1981 graduate of Petersburg High School. Julie worked at various jobs but especially enjoyed driving for Potomac Valley Transit Authority in Petersburg and meeting so many people. Julie never met a stranger. Julie was also a cancer survivor. 

 A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Cabins Assembly of God Church with Pastor Coleen Clark officiating.
