Joshua D. Bergdoll

Joshua David Bergdoll, age 34, of Petersburg, WV died Thursday, September 10, 2015.

He was born December 11, 1980 in Petersburg, WV and was the son of Joseph D. Bergdoll and Shirley K. (Moyers) Bergdoll of Petersburg, WV.

"Josh" was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arlie and Ina Bergdoll; materal grandfather, James Oliver Moyers; uncle, Roger D. Werstein; cousin, Crystal Dawn Bergdoll.

"Josh" graduated from Petersburg High School in 1999. He formerly worked for Sites Construction and D and T Builders in Petersburg. Later he formerly worked for Dettinburn Transport as a mechanic. He was a member of the Rough Run Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are his parents, Joe and Shirley Bergdoll of Petersburg, WV; one brother, Jason D. Bergdoll and Natasha of Petersburg, WV; three daughters, Sidney Zalie Bergdoll, Krena Mae Bergdoll, Eden Katherine Bergdoll and one son, Joshua David Bergdoll II.; Maternal Grandmother, Martha Moyers of Petersburg, WV; Three aunts Catherine Werstein, Treva (Larry) Black and Shelby (Rick) Borror all of Petersburg, WV; two uncles, Ernest (Frances) Bergdoll of Waldorf, MD and John R. (Erma) Moyers of Maysville, WV; two nieces, Evey Elizabeth Bergdoll and Addison LeeNell Bergdoll; and several cousins.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 17, 2015, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Mongold officiating. Interment will follow in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
