Joseph "Joe" P. Mallow

Joseph Perry “Joe” Mallow, age 61 of Cabins, WV passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV.

Joe was born on October 5, 1962 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Ralph McKinley “Ping” Mallow, Sr. and Frances Louise (Riley) Mallow. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph M. Mallow, Jr.; three aunts, Ruth Mallow Matthews, Dorothy Mallow Vance, and Ann Marie (Riley) Hartman; four uncles, Virgil Mallow, Bobby Mallow, Clarence "Pete" Riley and Kenneth Riley.

Joe is survived by one sister, Martha Mallow Forsythe of North Carolina; one nephew Jason C. Mallow and one niece, Rebecca C. (Forsythe) Amaya; twin great nephews; two uncles, Freddie Mallow of Cabins, WV and Donald Mallow of Woodbridge, VA and several cousins.

Joe worked in construction and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended Riverside Church at Cabins, WV.

Joe’s family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 11 AM till 1 PM at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.  Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tommy George officiating. 

Interment will be in the Mallow Family Cemetery, Cabins, WV.
