Johnny Edward Wratchford, age 84, of Petersburg, WV died on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, WV.
Johnny was born on April 8, 1937 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of the late Homer William Wratchford and Nellie Helen (Reel) Wratchford.
In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by three sisters, Rebecca Wratchford, Wanda Kay Reed and Ema Jean Rohrbaugh; four brothers, Orville “Chiz” Wratchford, Curtis “Buddy” Wratchford, Virgil “Gib”Wratchford and Arthur David “Honey” Wratchford.
Surviving two daughters, Lisa (Michael) Dove of Mathias, WV and Kitty Rowe of Waynesboro, PA; one granddaughter, Ashley (Andrew) Taylor of Mathias, WV and one grandson, Dylan (Katy) Rowe of Waynesboro, PA; one great grandson, Michael David Taylor; one sister, Nellie Allanson of Petersburg, WV; two brothers, Homer Junior (Rosalee) Wratchford of Petersburg, WV and Jack Lee (Jean) Wratchford of Cumberland, MD and several nieces and nephews.
Johnny was formerly involved in the Grant County Little League baseball. He was a member of the Petersburg Church of God.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Petersburg Church of God at 5:00 P.M. with Pastor Stephen Noel officiating.
