Jim E. Daniels

Jim Ed Daniels, age 76, of Maysville, WV died Saturday, October 16, 2021, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

Jim was born on May 19, 1945, in Logan County, WV and was a son of the late Carl William Daniels Sr. and Amia (Murphy) Daniels.  In addition to his parents, Jim was  preceded in death  by four brothers, C. W. Daniels, Jr., Jerry Daniels, Thomas Eugene Daniels and David Edwin Daniels.

Jim is survived by his wife, Debra (Guinn) Daniels, one son, Derek (Carrie) Daniels of Fairfax, VA; two grandchildren, Thomas Daniels and Stella Daniels; three step sons, Shane Eller, Zach McKenzie and Matt McKenzie; one step daughter, Lindsey Jankowski and seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister, Betty ( Roy) Delgado of Maysville, WV;  two brothers, Douglas (Linda) Daniels of Dorcas, WV and Charles (Paula) Daniels of Myrtle Beach, S C. and several nieces and nephews. 

Jim was part owner of Federal Painting, Washington, D C. After retiring he moved back to West Virginia where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.  Jim loved his family and was a wonderful Poppy to all his grandchildren and to all his church families’ children.  Jim’s main goal in life and death was to magnify his Lord and Savior who he faithfully served. He was a member of South Branch Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 1 PM Friday, October 22, 2021 at South Branch Baptist Church,  496 Veterans Lane, Petersburg, WV  26847  with  Pastor Matt Perrine officiating.

Family will receive friends from 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM.

Burial will be in Daniels Family Cemetery, Dorcas, WV.
