Jewel B. (Bowsky) White

 Jewel Benson White, age 68, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at her home in Petersburg.

Jewel was born on July 19, 1957 in Marshall, Michigan and was a daughter of the late Ben Bowsky and Martha Jane (Benson) Bowsky. Jewel was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Jewel was the last member of her immediate family.

Jewel is survived by her husband of 32 years, Franklin Charles White; one son, Taylor Tagliarin and wife Ginger and one daughter, Alexa Cimenelli and husband Ron and two grandchildren all of Niagara Falls, NY.

Jewel was a graduate of Ohio University where she studied Criminal Law. Later she was employed as commercial marketing manager. Jewel loved traveling and lived in Athens, Greece for 6 years. Later Jewel met her husband, Franklin White in Niagara Falls, NY and they were restaurant owners there for several years. Later Jewel and her husband moved to West Virginia in 2005 and later settled in Petersburg, WV.

Honoring Jewel’s wishes, her body will be cremated. All services will be private.
