Jason D. Bergdoll

Jason Daniel Bergdoll, age 37 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at his home. Jason was born on February 9, 1987 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of Joseph David Bergdoll and Shirley Katherine (Moyers) Bergdoll of Petersburg, WV. 

In addition to his parents Joe and Shirley Bergdoll, Jason is survived by his wife of 15 years, Natasha A. (Kee) Bergdoll; two daughters, Addison LeeNell Bergdoll and Evey Elizabeth Bergdoll; four aunts, Catherine Werstein, Treva (Larry) Black and Shelby (Rick) Borror all of Petersburg, WV and Frances Bergdoll of Waldorf, MD and uncle John R. (Erma) Moyers of Maysville, WV; three nieces, Sidney Y. Pezzanite, Krena M. Pezzanite and Eden K. Pezzanite; nephew Joshua D. Pezzanite and several cousins.

Jason was preceded in death by his brother Joshua David Bergdoll, Paternal grandparents, Arlie and Ina Bergdoll, Maternal grandparents James Oliver and Martha Moyers, two uncles Roger Werstein and Ernest Bergdoll and cousin Crystal Dawn Bergdoll.

Jason was a 2005 graduate of Petersburg High School. He began working for American Woodmark Corporation and more recently for Pilgrim’s Pride Live Haul. His jeep was his favorite vehicle. You’d see him driving with family and his dogs. He enjoyed the outdoors hiking, fishing and mushroom hunting was a favorite with his daughter Addison.

Jason’s family will receive family and friends on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 11 AM  until 1 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home.

Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor P. J. Landis officiating. Interment will follow in the Lahmansville Cemetery.
