James A. Peeples

James Alford Peeples, age 80 of Petersburg, WV died Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.

Mr. Peeples was born on August 20, 1941 in Baltimore, MD and was a son of the late Alfred and Mattie Peeples.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Peeples was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte (Smith) Peeples.

Mr. Peeples is survived by his brother, Richard Peeples of Florida and his sister, Colleen of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Peeples served in the United States Air Force in the early 60’s.  He retired from Westinghouse in Baltimore, MD.  He was a camp counselor at Camp Puh-tok in Monkton, MD for several years.

Honoring Mr. Peeples request, his body will be cremated.
