Jackie Lynn Timbrook

Jackie Lynn (Barr) Timbrook, age 44, of Petersburg, WV passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born November 12, 1970 in Harrisonburg, VA and was the daughter of Joann (Barr) Alt of Petersburg, WV.
She was preceded in death by her step father, Forrest A. Alt on August 9, 2014.

Jackie graduated from Petersburg High School in 1989 and was a member of the National Honor Society. She worked at the Grant County Nursing Home for 12 years and Grant County Commission on Aging until her illness. She was Baptist by Faith.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Joann (Barr) Alt of Petersburg, WV; her husband of 25 years, James C. Timbrook; one daughter, Katherine R. Shreve and husband, Shawn of Scherr, WV and one son, James A. Timbrook at home; two grandchildren, Fredrick James Crocker and Gracelyn Maywood Shreve; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family will receive friends Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Gary R. Crislip officiating. Burial will be in the Kessel Cemetery at Kessel, WV.
