Herbert Huffman Obituary

Herbert Hoover Huffman, age 91 of Petersburg, WV passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV.

Mr. Huffman was born February 3, 1929 in Dry Fork, WV and was a son of the late Blosser Johnson Huffman and Radie (Raines) Huffman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Mr. Huffman is survived by his wife Louretta Faye (Kimble) Huffman; two brothers, Marshall Huffman and wife Ada Belle of Franklin, WV and Richard Huffman and wife Mary of Franklin, WV. several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Huffman was a lifelong farmer and worked at the Claude Bergdoll Sawmill. He was a member of Potomac Valley Baptist Church, Maysville, WV.

Family will receive friends at the Schaeffer Funeral Home on Monday, March 11, 2019 from Noon till 1:00 PM. Funeral service will begin at 1 PM with Pastor Ted Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
