Harlan E. Judy

Harlan Estel Judy, age 86 of Lahmansville, WV, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV.

Mr. Judy was born April 4, 1934 in Smoke Hole, WV and was a son of the late Jesse Lee Judy and Amanda (Conrad) Judy.  In addition to his parents, Harlan was preceded in death by two brothers, Orville Judy and Delmar Lee Judy; two sisters, Freda Viola (Judy) Alt and Elaine Frances (Judy) Shreve; infant half- sister, Rebecca Judy.

Harlan is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia A. (Hedrick) Judy; two sons, Jackie Lee (Lanny) Judy of Moorefield, WV and Darian E. (Sonja) Judy of Moorefield, WV; two daughters, Phyllis Ann Judy of Moorefield, WV and Debbie (Donald Scott) Miller of Petersburg, WV; four grandchildren, Harvey Brett Keplinger, Trent James Judy, Alexander Scott Miller and Christian Lee Judy; one step granddaughter, Heather McCoy and step great granddaughter, Alyssa McCoy; three half- brothers, Paul (Hilda) Judy of Upper Tract, WV, Berlin (Beverly) Judy of Moorefield, WV and Eldon (Mary) Judy of Petersburg, WV; three half- sisters, Brenda (Charles “Sonny”) Cook of Upper Tract, WV, Norma (William) Brown of Sandston, VA  and Geneva Myers of Culpeper, VA.

Harlan served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Potomac Highlands VFW Post 6454.  He was a self employed logger and an avid hunter and fisherman. 

 A Military Graveside service will be Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV with Rev. Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating and the West Virginia Army Honor Guard.
