Elmer Franklin Dillow Jr.

Elmer Franklin Dillow, Jr., age 73, of Petersburg and formerly of Winchester Bay, Oregon and Charles Town, WV, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, in Petersburg, WV.

Born on September 28, 1949, in Charles Town, WV, he was the son of the late Elmer F. Dillow, Sr. and Dorothy W. (Clipp) Dillow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, infant Linda Dillow and Joyce Richards.

He is survived by two sisters, Mary J. Hill of Charles Town, WV and Betty L. Ours of Riverton, WV.  Elmer is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Elmer served in Viet Nam as a medic with Reconnaissance Platoon, Second Battalion, 60th Infantry, 9th Division and was a recipient of the Bronze Star for Valor.

In accordance with Elmer’s wishes, all services will be private.
